What is a manifestation coach? 

First off, what exactly is manifestation?

Manifestation is the belief that if you focus your thoughts, intentions, and energy on a specific goal, you increase your odds of achieving it. 

A manifestation coach can teach clients to do this effectively.

As a coach, you help clients create a positive mindset and understand the law of attraction.

In short, the law of attraction teaches that we get back what we put into the world – meaning positive thoughts lead to positive experiences.

A manifestation coach could help clients manifest a:

• New house
• New job
• Raise
• Relationship

Studies have found that people who believe in manifestation have a stronger drive for success and see themselves as more successful. 

Research also shows that positive thinking and a goal-oriented mindset (the foundations of manifestation) can enhance our overall well-being and help us get closer to our goals.

What does a manifestation coach do? 

As a manifestation coach, you’re responsible for helping clients create a positive mindset and align their energies and desires.

That means:

• Helping your clients clarify their hopes and goals, figure out what’s holding them back, and remove fears and limiting beliefs
• Strengthening their belief in the energy of the universe 
• Teaching them the law of attraction
• Showing them how to use their subconscious mind to harness positive energy and find success

Of course, the tools and techniques you use with your clients depend on you – every manifestation coach is different.

Typically, a manifestation coach uses:

• Meditation – Teaching clients to meditate helps clients access their subconscious mind and remove any mental barriers. Manifestation meditation is another option. This is more goal-oriented and focuses on visualizing positive outcomes, which I’ll talk about next.. 

• Visualization – Visualization means imagining you’ve already achieved your desired outcome or goal.  The idea is that by imagining you’ve achieved something, you’re setting yourself up for success.

• Energy work – A manifestation coach uses energy work to create and release the kind of positive energy that supports manifestation.  As a manifestation coach, you can use several kinds of energy work, including affirmations, crystals for chakra balancing, and emotional release techniques like tapping or breathwork. 

• Journaling and vision boards – Having a physical place for clients to store their thoughts and goals can help them gain better clarity, track their progress, and get rid of limiting beliefs. 

• Neuro-Linguistic Programming – NLP involves adjusting your client’s language and behavior to rewrite their brain for positive change.

So, yes – there’s a huge market for anyone looking to become a manifestation coach.

1. Find a niche 

Your niche is the area you specialize in.

For a manifestation coach, a niche could be something like:

• Manifestation for entrepreneurs
• Relationship manifestation
• Health and wellness manifestation
• Abundance manifestation

The more specific, the better! It’ll help you stand out from the crowd.

But how do you pick a niche?

Ask yourself a few questions:

• What are you good at? 
• What kind of experience do you have?
• Who can you help, and how?

2. Deepen your manifestation coaching skills 

Having a niche will set you apart, but if you want to be a great manifestation coach, you’ll need a few skills.

Most importantly, a manifestation coach should have a deep understanding of manifestation and the law of attraction.

And because our thoughts and beliefs influence manifestation, having a background or experience in psychology will help you find ways to overcome your clients’ limiting beliefs.

But knowledge is only half the battle – you’ll need softer skills, too. 

A great manifestation coach has strong communication and empathy skills.

By actively and empathetically listening to client goals and struggles, you can build a safe, supportive, and trusting environment for your clients.

You don’t have to be certified to be a successful manifestation coach.

At the end of the day, your clients care more about your experience and the results you can help them get.

I’ve been a coach for almost a decade and don’t have any certification – however, I do have a lot of experience in my field and thanks to my experience, I help my students get results.

I get it.

Figuring out what to charge for your services as a manifestation coach can be challenging, but it’s an important step.

My advice for new coaches? 

Start with a three-month package for $1,500. 

As part of this, you’ll want to include bi-weekly calls, ongoing email support, and an extra line of communication.

If this seems low, don’t worry! 

You can always raise your prices as you hone your skills and get more clients and testimonials.

This strategy is called “penetration pricing” and it means you offer your services at a lower rate so that you can enter the market.

You see, few people know about you as a new coach so you need to earn your stripes.

5. Find your first clients  

Once you’ve created your package, it’s time to land your first paying client!

I see way too many new coaches pour their heart and soul into things like their website, branding, and paid ads.

Instead, it’s best to start small.

Here are three easy ways to find your first clients:

• Offer your services to your network, including friends, family, and colleagues, or ask them for referrals.
• Join social media and start building relationships by offering helpful advice
• Pitch yourself to relevant publications and podcasts, which will establish you as an expert manifestation coach
